Welcome Family and Friends!

Hey everyone, this is the week. The weather looks great! Bring all your outdoor gear -- swim trunks, bikes, frisbees, etc!

All the events will be in our home, in the park across the street, and in our backyard. We love where we live and it will make the whole event a lot less stressful, less logistically complicated...and therefore more fun for us. It's all about us after all, right?

Five Sunny Days and Counting!

Hey everyone. The forecast is calling for six days of great weather. Bring swim suits. Bring bikes. Bring outdoor games. We can't wait to see everyone!

Rebecca and I are working madly to finish a bathroom, but otherwise things are falling into place quite nicely.

Gifts

We're not registering anywhere because we already have enough stuff in our lives.

We'll be asking your help with potluck contributions and other help throughout the weekend. This is a great gift for us.

If you still feel that you must bring a gift, feel free to bring fall-planting bulbs or some native New England plant or shrub. We're landscaping our backyard and the more plants the better!

The most important gift, of course, is your presence!

What To Wear?

This is a casual affair...and we mean it.
  • For the ceremony, dressy casual is in. That means no coat and tie expected, but wear something fun for you.
  • For the rest of the weekend, it's just casual. Bring swimsuits. Bring layers. Vermont weather changes constantly.
  • On the dance floor, wear something fun. Twirly skirts and dresses are great. Boys, you can look hip too. We know you can.

Fun Saturday Adventures

Swim or Kayak in Lake Champlain
Our neighborhood beach is family friendly. Cool off just one block from our house. You can also borrow our kayaks or rent them on the waterfront.

Ride the Burlington Bike Path & Bike Ferry
Bring your bikes or rent them at Local Motion, North Star Sports or Skirack. The trail goes 13 miles north into the Champlain Islands where orchards and vineyards await!

Visit Church Street or Burlington's Waterfront
There's the ECHO museum, Lake Champlain Chocolates, and enough shopping for anyone.

Go for a Hike
There are many great hikes in the Burlington area. Many are on Local Motion's Trail Finder:
Red Rocks Park
, Colchester Pond and Camel's Hump.
